Day 354/365: Part 1/3
“so i commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad..”
“All great things are simple, and many can be expressed in single words: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.” - Sir Winston Churchill”
school sucks Trying to take time to relax and forget about… grad school, getting a job, paying off loans, paying bills, working, staying in shape, GMAT, LSAT, and homework. Instead of all that ^^^^^^ Pandora is serenading me sweet tunes similar to Bon Iver, catching up on some inspiring quotes, talking with some friends, eating, and letting my eyes close without the anxiety of a to do list. if I tweeted i’d probably do some hash tag thing like #almostdone or #senioritis thats it.

can’t think of a good title it has been a while since I have blogged, I guess I have been a little busy. school has started up again and with it comes many obligations. funny enough I have decided to add more to my plate. I recently watched a TEDtalk about trying something new for 30 days. basically it can be anything and the point is to be conscious of time as it passes. how we use our time and what we use it on is usually not so important to be entirely remembered. hopefully by making myself do something new for a month will help me to remember the time that has passed. so with everything that I already have on my plate I will be trying to read more everyday, whether that be the bible (which I am a bit ashamed to admit I have not read much of in a Long time) or a random book I find on amazon. here it goes!

whats up with that so i was at work the other morning when my boss came downstairs with two scarves in her hand. she starting asking which one looked better along with some other advise. I said, the red one looks good. she just snarled at me and said she wasn’t there for my advise. she wanted to know what the other supervisor, who is gay mind you, thought about them. so what the heck, why can’t straight guys have good fashion advice too? i’m a snappy dresser, and actually some gay guys dress terribly! so i’m just saying never count out the straight guy for fashion advice.

thoughts need to make some priorities and follow through can’t give up on those priorities TRAVEL…somewhere, South America? Canada? Be myself. Don’t care about money, just live. Money is tangible, life isn’t, so store the memories because they are irreplaceable.

TRAVEL…somewhere, South America? Canada?

Be myself.

Don’t care about money, just live. Money is tangible, life isn’t, so store the memories because they are irreplaceable.

Whoa It has been a while since I have posted anything. Don’t ask me why that is. I have been back from France for about a month and a half now. Since then I have turned 21, moved into my own house, finished a summer class, started working out, and have really enjoyed my summer. It is crazy that it is already almost over. I don’t want it to end, but then school will start and I will only have one year left of college. How time flies! There is so much more I want to do this summer, a road trip to Yellowstone or Wisconsin, a 100 mile bike ride, who knows what else. The point is to enjoy the journey and not to make goals. Why make goals? It is fun to go on the journey of whatever you are doing and see your progression, your growth. To reach the goal is just to complete another item on your to-do list, and what is the fun in that. The journey is what is great! Enjoy it! My journey in Paris was amazing and I miss it. I cherish it now and think of all the travels I want to do in the future. Drive to the southern tip of South America, raft through the Amazon, go to Asia, Russia, Australia. I want to see the world!
